Excitement is building for the horror series the Derry series, that's been receiving positive feedback and weaving in elements from additional King stories. Just one day after launch, the network declared that the second installment will premiere ahead of schedule, scheduled ideally for the spookiest night.

Kicking off on Halloween night at midnight PT, episode two of the Derry prequel will premiere on HBO Max, before its linear broadcast. The remaining installments of the eight-episode season will be released on Sundays on HBO and HBO Max, building toward the season finale on Sunday, December 14.
