Renowned Actor Pat Finn, a versatile actor, Famed For Appearances in Friends and The Middle, Has Died at the Age of Sixty.
American entertainer Pat Finn, who was seen in beloved TV shows like "Friends", Seinfeld and The Middle, has passed away at 60 years old.
The comedic improv actor passed away at his residence in Los Angeles, California recently after undergoing cancer treatment beginning in 2022, per media reports.
"Pat considered no one a stranger - just potential friends he hadn't encountered," his loved ones said in a announcement.
They noted that he had "lived his life fully - with happiness and energy".
A Prolific Television Career
Finn's first television role was on a show starring George Wendt in 1995, where he appeared as the lead character's sibling.
He also had a repeating character on Murphy Brown between 1995 and 1997.
He starred as a party host named Joe Mayo in Seinfeld in 1998, depicting a party host famous for delegating burdensome jobs to his guests.
In the 90s and 2000s, he made guest appearances on a variety of well-known programs, such as:
- The King of Queens
- "Friends"
- "That '70s Show"
- "House"
Finn was perhaps best known for playing the character Bill Norwood in The Middle, featuring across eight series from 2011 to 2018.

Away from his television work, Finn was an improv performer and worked as a teacher at the University of Colorado, where he was a faculty member.
